Crowdsourcing Operators of Software as a Service (SaaS)

Lions Gate Club will offer bundled SaaS (software as a service) to protect the Self-sovereign Identity (SSI) and provide more convenience and security as a Multi-sided platform business model we want to be Crowdsourcing the very best SaaS programs, to make your mobile devices more safe and secure.

Your SSI security is Lions Gate Club primary purpose, secondary is to leverage the economics of scale to negotiate better prices on services to help you manage passwords and digital wallets, scan mobile devices, plus backup and store data.

Crowdsourcing is a sourcing model in which individuals or organizations obtain goods and services, including ideas and finances, from a large, relatively open and often rapidly-evolving group of internet users; it divides work between participants to achieve a cumulative result. The word crowdsourcing itself is a portmanteau of crowd and outsourcing, and was coined in 2005. As a mode of sourcing, crowdsourcing existed prior to the digital age (i.e. “offline”).

There are major differences between crowdsourcing and outsourcing. Crowdsourcing comes from a less-specific, more public group, whereas outsourcing is commissioned from a specific, named group, and includes a mix of bottom-up and top-down processes. Advantages of using crowdsourcing may include improved costs, speed, quality, flexibility, scalability, or diversity.

Some forms of crowdsourcing, such as in “idea competitions” or “innovation contests” provide ways for organizations to learn beyond the “base of minds” provided by their employees (e.g. LEGO Ideas). Tedious “microtasks” performed in parallel by large, paid crowds (e.g. Amazon Mechanical Turk) are another form of crowdsourcing. It has also been used by not-for-profit organizations and to create common goods (e.g. Wikipedia). The effect of user communication and the platform presentation should be taken into account when evaluating the performance of ideas in crowdsourcing contexts

Software as a service (SaaS) is a software licensing and delivery model in which software is licensed on a subscription basis and is centrally hosted. It is sometimes referred to as “on-demand software”, and was formerly referred to as “software plus services” by Microsoft. SaaS is typically accessed by users using a thin client, e.g. via a web browser. SaaS has become a common delivery model for many business applications, including office software, messaging software, payroll processing software, DBMS software, management software, CAD software, development software, gamification, virtualization, accounting, collaboration, customer relationship management (CRM), Management Information Systems (MIS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), invoicing, human resource management (HRM), talent acquisition, learning management systems, content management (CM), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and service desk management. SaaS has been incorporated into the strategy of nearly all leading enterprise software companies.

According to a Gartner estimate, SaaS sales in 2018 were expected to grow 23% to $72 billion.

SaaS applications are also known as Web-based software, on-demand software and hosted software.

The term “Software as a Service” (SaaS) is considered to be part of the nomenclature of cloud computing, along with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Desktop as a Service (DaaS), managed software as a service (MSaaS), mobile backend as a service (MBaaS), and information technology management as a service (ITMaaS).

Self-sovereign Identity is a newcomer to the the SaaS market and to date there is no “proof of concept” for how to make people adopt SSI, as currently there’s no value in owning an SSI and very little benefit.

Lions Gate Club propose forming a society to operate collectively, using liquid democracy and DAO software to manage the treasury. The challenge is to develop a digital product, at the correct price point, to provide the member significant value. The package covers monthly hosting an SSI, plus includes a bundle of SaaS.

The pay it forward third of the fee is for staking a Masternode for each member. By crowdsourcing server rack space and computing resources for staking of MasterNodes.
